30 Films, 30 Degrees is COMPLETE!

In an update post a while back, I talked about a "challenge" I was doing that I called the "30 Films, 30 Degrees" challenge. For those who missed that post, the challenge has you watch 30 movies that you haven't seen before within a year. The catch is, there has to be one actor in common between each movie. For example, the first movie I watched was Non-Stop, then Taken (Liam Neeson), then Lockout (Maggie Grace), etc. My challenge is based off of Demi Adejuyigbe's version, only his is 100 films, not 30.

Well, I'm done! Yesiree, it took me a good 5 months, but I hit number 30 over the weekend. In the end, it was a great time. I got to watch some movies I'd been meaning to watch for a while, and some movies I'd have never previously thought to watch. The most rewarding aspect of it is that I'm feeling a lot more comfortable watching new and unseen movies than I had been before.

There were hits, there were misses. There were ones I loved, ones I thought were just OK, and ones I totally hated. The list of films and the actors in common are right over here. Or you can just squint at the header image.
