It's Another Update Thingy!

Right now, you're probably thinking, "We just got one of these!" Well, this is just a short one because the next two weeks are going to be a bit different here.

This Saturday, I'm leaving for a vacation up north and won't be back until August 20 (that's a week, for those who don't have the gumption to open their desktop calendars). I won't be doing any blog-related hijinks during that week, but I'm going to spend some time this week working on and finishing up a few overdue posts and then scheduling them for "publishing" while I'm at the cottage. So there's a real, ironic chance that the one week this summer that I'm not working on the blog could be the week with the most posts. Huh.

Anyway, I don't want to spoil some of the stuff that's coming, but I can say that I'm going to do my very best to get the third "Doctor Who Rewind" done and ready for next week. And that's just one of the things I'm going to work on.

Now, there's two downsides to this. The first one, which isn't a huge downside, is that if you're someone who follows the blog through the Facebook page or my Twitter, you won't be getting updates on new posts through those outlets. So,if you're heavily invested in seeing what's coming next week, maybe bookmark the site? 

The second downside is that there won't be any Five Bits this week or next week. There's none this week because I want some more time to work on next week's stuff, and last week was another slow news week. But, I'm hoping, when I come back, I can get all caught up on the news I missed (No wi-fi where I'm going) to get an edition out the following Monday/Tuesday. 

As for what is being posted this week, I'm getting started on my Suicide Squad review,  so there's that to look forward to.
