I ripped off that witty title from someone else on the internet. Sorry anonymous internet user.
Anyway, the first teaser trailer for Doctor Strange, Marvel's next solo/origin movie, dropped yesterday. It looks like we'll be getting a film that is unlike anything we've seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before.
Even though I'm abundantly excited for Doctor Strange (more so than Civil War), there are some things in this trailer I'm kind of skeptical about. I'm not too keen on Cumberbatch's American accent, but maybe it'll sound better in the actual movie. As many have pointed out, some of the visuals are quite reminiscent of Inception, and I'm hoping the movie doesn't get too caught up in its own spectacle and ends up failing to deliver a good story. Which isn't uncommon. *Looks out of the corner of his eye at Zack Snyder.*
Doctor Strange is out on November 4. It's directed by Scott Derrickson and will feature Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme himself, along with Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen and Benedict Wong.
In other news, I know want a giant Sanctum Sanctorum window in my house.
