Hey! Last night was the Super Bowl and, if you’re anything like me, you were watching for one or all of these reasons: the food, the commercials, and the trailers. I was spoiled in all three.
We’re going to limit our little pow-wow today to just the trailers, which were abundant indeed.
The highlight, for me, was the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 spot, of course. Set to Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” the ad shows off some more of the cosmic chaos and some fresh looks at Ayesha, Mantis, Yondu and an angry Nebula…
Next up there’s the ad for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which gives us a peek at the super duper explody ship to ship action, ghost/zombie pirates, and some reintroductions to Barbossa, Will and Jack…
Speaking of films that used Johnny Cash in an awesome trailer, here’s the ad for Logan (No Cash in this one). Nothing new, but I’m excited now that I’ve realized we’re just shy of a month away…
And, finally…
How dare you, Netflix? How dare you tease us like this when Season 2 doesn’t come out until October?! Still love you guys, though.
