This was supposed to go up yesterday, aka the real anniversary, but my internet was out over the weekend. But here it is!
Anyways, wow. One year ago (yesterday) , I decided to start a blog because I wanted a place where I could gush about Series 9 of Doctor Who as well as improve my review-writing skills, never really believing I'd still be posting a year later. Yet, here I am.
It's been a fantastic first year too. According to my Blogger stats (which may or may not be completely reliable) I've done 152 posts, the blog has been visited over 6,000 times, and my most-viewed post was my Big Season-Ender Roundup, which currently sits at 209 views. Awesome.
Also, a huge thank you to everyone. Everyone who's supported me and offered me words of encouragement, and thanks to everyone who's read the blog. Whether it was one post or all of them, thanks a whole bunch. I would hug every single one of you if I could.
So...what's next? Well, the TV review season starts tomorrow with the fourth season premiere of Agents of SHIELD. I'll try to have that review up by the end of the week. I'm also working on a "Season-Opener Roundup" post, which should be up by the end of tomorrow, in time for SHIELD. I'm still doing some tinkering with some expansions to the site, adding pages for reviews and The Five Bits, etc. So, in other words, I'm not planning on giving this up anytime soon.
So, here's to a fun first year, and to another one.
Noah
