"Penny and Dime" (Season 2, Episode 4)
- That was one intense opening scene.
- Vincent Van Gogh? What are you doing leading the Irish mob?
- Melvin!
- Finn interrogating Frank is probably one of the most intense sequences yet for Daredevil.
- I loved seeing Daredevil and Punisher "team up." Also, Daredevil constantly knocking weapons out of Punisher's hand was great.
- Jon Bernthal better get some award recognition for this episode. He was a tour de force in the graveyard scene. We didn't need to see Frank's family die, it was all in Bernthal's performance. Bravo!
- I really like the way Matt and Karen's romance is being handled. It feels natural and realistic and not soap opera-y.
"Kinbaku" (Season 2, Episode 5)
- Elektra didn't spend a full minute on screen, and I already really liked here. She really electrifies things up, eh?
- The chemistry between her and Matt was also fantastic. In both the flashbacks and the present.
- I liked the way the show was able to turn our attentions back to a lingering plot point from last season's flashbacks that I didn't think about. Did Matt ever try to find the mob boss who killed his dad?
- It's always cool seeing Karen go full-on detective. All in favour of a Karen Page/Jessica Jones team-up movie, say I.
- Seeing something like a date with Karen work out perfectly for Matt for once was nice.
- I feel like the frequent mentions and appearances of Roxxon in the TV side of the MCU are building up to something big involving them. Hmmmm.
- Guess who gets a namedrop? Jessica Jooooooones!
